Can't make it to BookExpo America (BEA) but want to see what's going on?  Now you can.  For the first time ever, BEA is going to live stream its events.

In celebration of the recent release of The Lorax, io9 lists 5 re-invented Seuss titles that prove Dr. Seuss movies could always get worse.

Ten novels that will sharpen your mind (and boost your social skills), including Middlemarch, Mrs. Dalloway, Pride and Prejudice, and Anna Karenina.

A long-lost story written by Charlotte Bronte is to be published for the first time after being found in a Belgian museum a century after it was last heard of.

Harry Potter ebooks will soon be making their way to schools and libraries.

Suzanne Collins weighs in on The Hunger Games movie saying, "I've just had the opportunity to see the finished film of The Hunger Games. I'm really happy with how it turned out.  I feel like the book and the film are individual yet complementary pieces that enhance one another.  The film opens up the world beyond Katniss' point of view..."

Fox 2000 has set Brian Percival (Downtown Abbey) to direct the adaptation of Markus Zusak's novel, The Book Thief.

  3. I was wondering about ebook prices myself. It's crazy, some ebooks are getting more expensive then paper books, and in my opinion I would rather have the paper version. When I first bought the kindle, I was saving money because the ebooks were so cheap but now they are so much more expensive compared to when the kindle first came out.

The ten books to sharpen your mind, Beloved is sitting on my kitchen table right now waiting for me indulge in it. Unfortunately, I have to read it for a class so I have to wait until it comes up on the syllabus.
